Still can't believe that (and it's not only me). Whatever the victim said, whatever he did, there is absolutely no visible reason for this action. Looks like a coolly murder for me.
By the way: That story disagrees completely to my personal impressions I got of the NYPD (New York Police Department) in the days around New Year's Eve last week. Wherever we were, all officers were cautious in the background and even when spoken to very courteous. Just wanted to note that.
