I think it is a great ad. It makes me want to buy a glow in the dark towel.

But you are right. There are cultural differences around the world that would make this ad less suitable for Europe. Europe likes more subdued colors, classical music, a conservative tone and a pretense towards seriousness or artistic affectations etc. The rest of the world is more likely to just have fun with something, and take a few more stylistic risks.
